Day01: 23rd Dec: Jerusalem

 Arrival at Tel Aviv International Airport (Ben Gurion Airport) and Transfer to the Hotel and check in it. Overnight stay is at Jerusalem.

Day02: 24th Dec: Jerusalem

After breakfast proceed to the lowest point on earth – The Dead Sea. We will stop to visit the Good Samaritan’s Inn on the road to Jericho. We will also visit Qumran, the place where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were found, and learn about the beliefs of the Jews at the time of Jesus. We will not miss a float in the healthy and special waters of the Dead Sea, contiue to explore Jericho, where we shall see the Sycamore Tree, on which tradition says that Zacchaeus the Tax-collector climbed in order to see The Lord, and Elisha’s spring. A modern cable-car will take us up to the Mount of Temptation, where the monks built their monastery hanging from a cliff, on the spot where Jesus was tempted by the Devil. Afternoon return to the Hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and some rest before driving to Bethlehem to celebrate the Christmas evening! At 20:00 PM our driver will transfer you to Bethlehem where you can view the Christmas mass on huge screens. At around 02:00 AM, you will transfer and check into hotel. Overnight stay is at Jerusalem.

Day03: 25th Dec: Jerusalem

After breakfast proceed to the picturesque village Ein Karim, the place where John the Baptist was born. We will visit the “St. John in the Mountains” church, built on the place where the house of St. John was standing. We will also visit the Church of Visitation, where St. Mary visited Elisabeth out in the vineyard, and prophesized her the birth of St. John, continue to explore the New city where we visit Yad Vashem, the memorial of the holocaust, and then the famous Menorah” (Candelabra) located in front of the “Knesset”-Building, housing Israel’s Parliament. At the “Israel Museum” we visit the Model of Jerusalem in the Second Temple Period. This is a 1:50 scale model of the city, as it was during one of its most important periods, when Judaism and Christianity, as we know them today, started to evolve. The model is built from the original materials, and is updated according to the most recent archaeological researches. We will also visit the “Shrine of the Book”, where the “Dead Sea Scrolls” are exhibited. Overnight stay is at Jerusalem.

Day04: 26th Dec: Jerusalem

After breakfast proceed to Bethlehem, visit the ancient Church of the Nativity, where we can really touch the very place where Lord Jesus was born. Built by St. Helena already in the 4th century, it has been an active church and never destroyed ever since! Here St. Heronymus wrote the first Latin translation of the Bible – the “Volgata”. We shall also visit the “Shepherds Fields“, continue to Jerusalem, we start with an introduction to the city from the top of The Mount of Olives, and then walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane. We also visit the “Wailing Wall”, the last remnants of the Temple in Jerusalem. If the current situation allows it, we will try to visit the Temple Mount as well. We continue in the footsteps of Jesus along the Stations of the Via Dolorosa, Jesus’ “Way of Suffering”, and on to the Church of the Holy Sepulture, where Jesus was crucified and buried. Later you will transfer and hotel. Overnight stay is at Jerusalem.

Day05: 27th Dec: Jerusalem

 After breakfast, drive along the Jordan valley to Nazareth, Begin the day with a walking tour of Nazareth including the Church of Annunciation, The old city and the Market (suq), on the way from Nazareth we will pass through Kana and continue to Capernaum for a visit to Peter’s House, then (if time permits) we will go to visit the Church on the Mt. of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount took place, Tabhga, the Church of the Primacy and the Church of the Multiplication, evening back to your hotel. Overnight stay is at Jerusalem.

Day06: 28th Dec:  Jerusalem: Drop

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport. Leave our country carrying with you magical memories of our tour.
