Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Hanoi
Upon arrival at the airport, complete your airport formalities before being transferred to the hotel for check-in. In the evening, embark on a city tour starting from the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university. Continue to Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi, where major cultural and political events unfold. Capture photographs of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside. Gain an encompassing perspective of the capital through a "cyclo" visit, commencing in the Old Quarter of Hanoi and including a stop at Ngoc Son Temple situated on Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as the "Sword" Lake. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi
This morning, we journey east through picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta to reach Halong Bay, a UNESCO-listed Natural World Heritage site. Upon arrival, board a traditional wooden junk for a cruise through the bay, passing iconic rock formations. Enjoy a seafood lunch on board and explore the captivating Thien Cung Cave. After four hours of cruising, we disembarked at Halong Pier and returned to Hanoi. Overnight stay at Hanoi.
Day 03: Hanoi - Saigon
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to the airport for a flight to Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam's bustling business centre. Upon arrival, our local guide picks us up, transferring us to the city center for hotel check-in. In the evening, our city tour begins at the Reunification Palace, featuring detailed exhibitions and an outdoor collection of tanks and weapons. We pass by European-style landmarks like City Hall and the Opera House (viewed from the outside), with a quick visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Overnight stay at Saigon.
Day 04: Saigon - Mekong Delta - Saigon
After breakfast, today, head to the Mekong Delta, where upon arrival, you'll embark on a boat journey along the mighty Mekong River. Pause at one of the four islands for sightseeing before transferring to small rowboats, guided by residents through narrow canals. Indulge in honey tea, witness the production of coconut candy milk by locals (with the opportunity to try it), and explore a garden where locals tend to honeybees. Conclude the day with a horse-cart ride through the peaceful village roads. In the evening, return to Saigon with a stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a renowned temple blending Chinese, Cambodian, and French architectural influences. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Saigon.
Day 05: Saigon City Tour - Siem Reap
Today, visit the preserved Reunification Palace, formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president. Pass by European-style landmarks such as City Hall and the old Opera House (viewed from the outside), with a quick visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. In the evening, fly to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, our representative transfers us to the hotel for check-in, and the rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight Stay at Siem Reap.
Day 06: Full-Day Angkor Tour
This morning, our exploration begins at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, also known as Big Angkor, the last capital of the Angkor Empire. We'll visit the intricate Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants, Baphuon, the Royal Palace Area, Phimeanakas, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Our morning concludes with a visit to the captivating Ta Prohm temple, a blend of human ingenuity and natural beauty.
In the afternoon, we'll explore Angkor Wat, Cambodia's ancient temple and an oriental world wonder. Representing the universe in Hindu mythology, Angkor Wat features five iconic towers, galleries adorned with reliefs, stone images of celestial Apsara dancers, and intricately designed portals, chambers, and courtyards. Overnight stay at Siem Reap.
Day 05: Depart Siem Reap
After breakfast, based on your flight time, you will be transferred to the airport to return to your home.
